Favorite/least favorite part of your job?

Administrative duties are my absolute least favorite. I love working with different people and employers all over the world.

I need to but currently none but I love to listen to NPR.

Biggest pet peeve?

Repeating myself.

What skill would you like to master?

Saying "no."

What’s the best way to start the day?

Prayer.

What are some things you’ve had to unlearn?

I'm not inferior, less competent, unattractive.

What is the most annoying question that people ask you?

I love when people ask me questions ...thats how you learn ....you can ask me anything ..I'm an open book!

Tell me where you would like to see the city in five years (as far as policies or culture, etc)?

NBA World Champions..host of the 2028 DNC or RNC (Covid-19 snubbed us)....I want to see the people who represent the majority of the Milwaukee population in more highly visible and business critical positions.

What drew you to join Hoan?

Ian stalked me and begged me to join for like 6 straight weeks.

What could you give a 40-minute presentation on with absolutely no preparation?

How to win at work using effective communication as a key strategy.

What do you wish your brain was better at doing?

Paying attention to detail.

What are your hobbies, and how did you get into them?

International travel and shopping ....my mother and Aunt Jennifer exposed me to both at the age of 18 months and never stopped.

What's your favorite board/card game?

Uno.

What’s the best and worst piece of advice you’ve ever received?

Best: "Know who you are."

Worst: "Well now that you're a single mom of two kids...you should probably apply for welfare."

What was the last show you binge-watched?

It's a tie.....Black AF and Pose (both on Netflix).

What’s your "Death Row Meal?"

Salmon Croquettes and spaghetti with ground beef.

What originally got you interested in your current field of work?

Hey if you love doing something ...don't wait for permission to share your gift...I've been talking too much since I was three years old lol plus I was the person who would analyze HOW and WHAT people said naturally..effective communication has and always be my passion.

What career advice would you give to your younger self?

Do what you love and trust the process...the money will come.

If you could do it all over again, would you pursue the same career? Why or why not?

YES! I love what I do...its the hardest work but the most fulfilling for me

What do you regret not doing in the last year?

Making more time to spend with my parents and children

How are you handling COVID/how has it affected you?

Just that ...handling..... and I'm not a handler by nature...Im an innovative thinker and conceptual/strategic so COVID has been another challenge but Im not new to dealing with shit....so I keep pushing and thriving due to God's faithfulness.

A genie gives you three wishes—what are they?

Make me skinny, a billionaire and remove any type of pandemic/virus from society.

What was the first thing you wanted to be when you grew up?

Attorney

The lakefront.

When will you know you've "made it"?

When I make money during my sleep every night.
