What career advice would you give to your younger self?

Measure your success against your personal goals, not what others achieve

If you could do it all over again, would you pursue the same career? Why or why not?

I would.  I’ve had a lot of really interesting opportunities from working on commercial/retail leasing on Michigan Avenue, to being part of the development team for Lambeau Field, to leading the economic development team for the Destination Medical Community in Rochester MN, and now helping to bring the vision for The Edgewater to reality.  I’ve been blessed to work on some pretty cool projects and to always be in a position to learn something new.

How are you handling COVID/how has it affected you?

Personally, I’d say I’m fairing pretty well.  I’m fine and accepting of things about 90% of the time, angry 5% and want to run away the other 5%. Professionally, it’s been really difficult.  But I am proud of how we’ve been managing the issues day by day to come through this.
